According to Annie Taylor at Suite 101, in the newest edition " The twelfth cycle of America's Next Top Model will premiere at 8:00 pm Eastern/7:00 pm Central on Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Thirteen hopefuls have been selected to compete for the prize and the winner will be named on May 20, 2009. The CW recently announced the newest cycle's lineup and they are profiled below."

Tahlia Brookins: The 18 year old Tahlia is 6'1" and a college volleyball player from Phoenix, Arizona. When she was a baby, an accident resulted in severe burns on more than 25% of her body. Despite taunts and prejudices, she holds her head up high and continues to pursue a modeling career.
