“We felt on an overall scale that there would be a lot more girls that would be interested (in volleyball),” she said.
“Volleyball in Section V is typically very strong, and it seems that there will be some interest in coaching,” Lowden said, also noting that 10,000 more high school girls play volleyball than lacrosse in the state.
