FORT COLLINS, Colo. – In less than two months, Head Coach Tom Hilbert and the 2009 CSU volleyball team will hit the court in search of its 15th consecutive postseason appearance, and CSU athletics is offering many ways for fans to catch all the action.
Single-match tickets for the 2009 season go on sale Thursday at 8 a.m., along with a pair of mini-plan options, giving Rams fans more flexibility with their schedules and budgets.
Tickets to individual matches can be purchased online at CSURams.com, in person at the CSU ticket office, or by calling 1-800/491-Rams. Single-match tickets can also be purchased throughout the season at any TicketsWest outlet found in King Soopers and City Market locations throughout Colorado.
Affordable single-match ticket prices start at just $6 for adult general admission, and $4 for youth (ages 3-17).
Season tickets remain on sale, starting as low as $75 for the Rams’ 16-match home schedule.
Fans also have the option to purchase any of two mini plans offered for the 2009 season.
The “Pick 5 Plan” offers fans a general admission tickets to their choice of any five home matches for just $20.
With the “Pepsi 4-Pack”, also offered for select CSU football games, fans can choose from eight great opponents – Pepperdine, Cal Poly, Georgia Southern, Texas-Arlington, New Mexico, Utah, Air Force and UNLV - and receive four general admission tickets, four hot dogs, bratwurst or pretzels, and four Pepsi products for $20.
Special ticket promotions are also available for select home dates.
Every Saturday afternoon match will be “KIDS’ DAY” at Moby Arena. Youth tickets will be just $1 for all following matches: Sept. 5 vs. Texas-Arlington, Sept. 26 vs. TCU, Oct. 17 vs. Utah, Nov. 7 vs. San Diego State, Nov. 21 vs. UNLV and Nov. 28 vs. New Mexico State.
Fans can also take advantage of several “Hike and Spike” ticket promotions, offering discounted volleyball tickets with a ticket stub from select CSU football games at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium.

Rams to make at least four television appearances in 2009
Colorado State’s volleyball squad will make at least four television appearances throughout the 2009 season, with the potential to add more dates to the broadcast schedule as the season draws closer.
The Rams are slated to make three appearances on The Mtn. – the MountainWest Sports Network – including Sept. 24 when CSU plays host to conference foe New Mexico at 7:30 p.m. MT at Moby Arena. Colorado State will appear two other times on Mtn. broadcasts. The Rams’ matchup at TCU, scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. MT, will air on a tape-delay beginning at 7:30 p.m. MT, while their Nov. 12 matchup at Utah will air live beginning at 7:30 p.m. MT.
The team will also make an appearance on BYU-TV, Nov. 14 when the Rams visit the BYU Cougars. That match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. MT.
