With 21 against Sam Houston State, Walroth, the senior libero from Cincinnati, reached yet another milestone in her illustrious career as she passed Ann Mullins of Lipscomb as the Atlantic Sun Conference all-time digs leader with 1,991. Walroth, a psychology major, who already owns the career and single-season records at JU, now needs just nine digs to become the 27th player in NCAA history to reach 2,000 in a career. In three matches at the Southern Miss La Quinta Inn Invitational, Walroth led the Dolphin defense with 65 digs (5.91 digs per set) including a season-best 29 vs. Louisiana Tech.
Last season, Walroth earned a “Libero of the Year” Honorable Mention by Collegiate Volleyball Update (CVU) after ranking fourth in the nation with an average of 5.87 digs per set. She also became the first Dolphin to garner A-Sun Defensive “Player of the Year” honors and also earned First-Team All-Conference accolades in 2008.

Megan Clements - Belmont (Jr. - L - Indianapolis - Nursing) – Clements made the Belmont Invitational all-tournament team, set career-high of 28 digs vs. Western Kentucky to tie a Curb Event Center record for digs in a match, led Belmont by holding Southeast Missouri State to a .078 hitting percentage, recorded 18 of the team's three-set season high 51 digs vs. Redhawks, had two 20+ dig matches and had two aces in the sweep vs. Samford.
Alex Kelly - Lipscomb (Jr. - MH - Kansas City, Mo. - Marketing) – Kelly earned an All-Tournament selection in the Jayhawk Invitational, her second all-tournament honor of the season. She led the team in kills in all three matches including a season-high 22 against Creighton, a match high.
Kaley Read - UNF (Jr. - MB - Tampa, Fla. - Nutrition) – Read made the Appalachian State Invitational All-Tournament Team after averaging 4.69 kills per set. The Ospreys finished second at the tournament, where she averaged 4.12 kills per set over the weekend, with 1.69 digs and eight aces.
Asjia Stokes – Kennesaw State (Sr. - OH - North Chicago, Ill. - Accounting) – Stokes earned Co-MVP of the Great 8 Volleyball Challenge Presented by Residence Inn - Kennesaw. Leading Kennesaw State to its first tournament championship in program history, Stokes had double-figure kill totals in all three matches. Stokes hit a phenomenal .593 in KSU's four-set win over Rider, connecting for 19 kills and just three errors in 27 attempts. The senior has led Kennesaw State to its best start in program history at 5-1, as the Owls have already won the most non-conference matches in a season in program history.
Emily Werner – Campbell (Jr. – OH – Sarasota, Fla. – Elementary Education) -Werner led the way for Campbell through the first full week of the 2009 volleyball season, hitting .307 with 3.40 kills per set while garnering all-tournament recognition at Virginia’s Holliday Inn Jefferson Cup. The all-tourney nod marks the second of Werner’s career after earning a bid to the 2007 North Carolina Central Invitational squad as a freshman. Werner ended the week with 51 kills, 3.40 kills per set, a .307 hitting percentage, 56.0 points, 38 digs, 2.53 digs per set, 6 blocks, 0.40 blocks per set, two aces and an assist.
