At 31, A College Volleyball Player Still Has Game

This Summer AVP Beach Volleyball Teams Will Give Themselves Up For Adoption
Starting this 2010 season the AVP will introduce a new "Adopt-A-Team" sponsorship initiative where for $500 sponsors can adopt a
two- person team for two days of a specific tournament. All proceeds will go to AVP players who in return
will wear their sponsors hat, tshirt, logo or patch all weekend, conduct two-twenty minute autograph
sessions and each team will be referred to as "Team (Put Sponsor Name Here) " in stadium announcements.

The Sullivan Award honors an individual not only for their athletic accomplishment, but is based upon the qualities of leadership, character, sportsmanship and the ideals of amateurism. Ranked Number Two in the world, the US Womens Sitting Volleyball Team defeated the Netherlands in four sets in Egypt to become the World Organization for Volleyball Disabled World Cup champions.
