Volleyball Video: Marquette Volleyball Report - 2011 Week 6

Marquette head volleyball coach Bond Shymanksy and sophomore right-side hitter Courtney Mrotek discuss MU's BIG EAST opening victory over USF and the efficiency of its middle and right-side hitters.

The Golden Eagles (10-4, 1-0 BIG EAST) return to action 6 p.m. Central time Thursday at Sacred Heart in Fairfield, Conn., before resuming conference play Saturday, Oct. 1 at Connecticut and Sunday, Oct. 2 at St. John's. Both weekend matches are scheduled for 1 p.m. CT.

Volleyball Video: Marquette Claims Invitational Crown With Sweep of Milwaukee

With a 25-14, 25-20, 25-22 sweep of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Saturday evening at the Klotsche Center, the Marquette University women's volleyball team claimed the Milwaukee Invitational title with a 3-0 weekend that also included wins over Southern Miss and Akron.
