NCAA Volleyball: Hofstra Hosts Georgia State On Friday
The Hofstra Volleyball team has only one match on the schedule this week as the Pride will host Georgia State on Friday at 7 p.m.
The match will be Hofstra’s final home match of the season and the Pride will honor its four graduating seniors (Alexa Borresen, Catalina Charry, Nikki Kinnier and Kylee Maneja) prior to the contest.
Hofstra (14-13, 2-6 CAA) needs a strong finish to the regular season to put itself in position to qualify for the conference tournament. The Pride has lost four straight matches, but showed some serious fight on Saturday as they fought back from an 0-2 deficit against Delaware before falling in five sets.

Creighton Volleyball (18-3, 9-1 MVC) closes out the month of October with
two home matches this weekend.
The Bluejay host Evansville (8-16, 3-8 MVC) at 7 pm on Friday night,
then welcome Southern Illinois (17-5, 7-4 MVC) on Saturday afternoon for a 4
pm start.
Both matches will take place at D.J. Sokol Arena inside the Wayne and
Eileen Ryan Athletic Center (2,500) in Omaha, Neb.
