Washington State Volleyball Camp Schedules Announced
PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State Volleyball Camp schedules are set for the 2010 summer, Cougar Head Coach Andrew Palileo announced Tuesday. Five opportunities for ages five years through seniors in high school will be offered during the first two weeks of July on the WSU Pullman campus.

The following dates and times are for the 2010 Cougar Volleyball Camps:
July 7-8, Youth Camp (girls and boys ages 5-9 years)
9 a.m. - Noon, both days
Cost: $100 per camper
The youth camp provides a fun opportunity for beginners to learn the basics and fundamentals of the game. Each camper will learn the basics of passing, hitting, and setting.
July 9-10 All Skills Camp (ages 10-15 years)
July 9: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; July 10: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Cost: $275 per Overnight camper; $250 per Day camper
The All Skills Camp is especially designed to prepare athletes for the move up to higher competition with an emphasis on further development of fundamental skills. Specialized instruction includes individual skills for attacking, setting, and defense within a team concept.
July 12-14 Team Camp (Grades 9-12)
July 12: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; July 13: 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.; July 14: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Cost: Overnight teams $275 per athlete; $100 per coach
Cost: Day teams $225 per athlete; $75 per coach
The Team Camp is designed to give high school teams the opportunity to practice together in a collegiate atmosphere prior to the 2010 season. Competition is the focus of the camp but is also includes individualized attention from the WSU staff and players. Coaches at the camp will have the opportunity to take part in our Coaches Clinic.
July 14 Team Tournament Only, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Cost $150 per team
The Team Tournament is completely separate from the Team Camp. Team Tournament Camp is an opportunity for teams to compete in a one-day tournament against other high schools.
July 15-17 Elite/Prospect Camp (Graduating in class of 2011, 2012, 2013)
July 15: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; July 16: 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.; July 17: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Cost $400 per Overnight camper; Cost $350 per Day camper
The Elite/Prospect Camp offers the highest level of training to the experienced players. The camp is designed to expose campers to the collegiate practice environment and is a great opportunity for athletes to raise their skill level in a highly competitive environment and get a chance to see what it is like to play at Washington State University. This camp allows prospects the opportunity to specialize in a position: outside, middle, and defensive specialist.
