Dayton Volleyball to hold Open Tryouts On Feb. 8

DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton volleyball program will hold walk-on tryouts on Feb. 8 for full-time students currently enrolled at UD. The tryouts will begin at 6 p.m. ET in the Frericks Center, home of Dayton Flyers Volleyball.
Players interested in the tryout must have all mandatory paperwork completed before being permitted to participate.
Mandatory paperwork includes:
-documented physical within the last six months,
-NCAA Eligibility Center number,
-physician-signed document with proof of sickle cell testing or a waiver of testing signed by the student-athlete,
-a signed concussion statement,
-medical history,
-NCAA drug testing consent form,
-female student-athlete questionnaire,
-and insurance information.
All mandatory forms for the tryout are located in the volleyball office located in the lower level of the Frericks Center, Room 20. Players interested should contact Assistant Coach Matt Affolder at 937-229-2365 or by email (maffolder@udayton.edu) prior to the tryout to complete all mandatory paperwork.
