Oakley Sunglasses For Female Volleyball Players
I love Oakley sunglasses. I've had several volleyball sunglass sponsors during my career but I was fortunate enough to have been sponsored by Oakley when I was playing on the Budlight Four Person Tour for Team Champion in 1993.
I'm one of those beach volleyball players who can't stand having anything on or near my face when I'm playing beach. Between the sweat, the sun and the wind I never wanted to have any additional distractions that could take my concentration away from playing.

But I have to say when I tried playing in Oakleys during practice I liked them. They were so light I sometimes forgot they were on. After playing with them in several practices, I started wearing them in games and tournaments with no problem.
Another reason I was impressed with my Oakleys was because when I needed to look up towards the sky to visually track a ball and I wasn't affected or distracted by the top rims of my Oakley sunglasses.
The same goes for my peripheral vision. I'm a freak about being able to glance sideways to be able to see where my beach volleyball partner is in the court and my favorite styles of Oakley sunglasses never blocked my ability to see peripherally.
Oakley has a long history of sponsoring female beach volleyball players.
The latest professional beach volleyball athletes to wear Oakley sunglasses include Suzanne Stonebarger, Angela Lewis, Priscilla Lewis, Olympian Elaine Youngs, Jen Snyder and Jenny Kropp.
