Colorado State Incoming Freshman Kaila Thomas named to Volleyball Magazine's Fab 50 List
Thomas 18th CSU recruit named to elite list

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Outside hitter Kaila Thomas has been named to Volleyball magazine’s 2011 Fab 50 list.
Thomas will join the Rams for their 2011 season as a 6-foot-1 outside hitter from Murrieta, Calif. She holds an impressive resume, including being named to the all-league team four consecutive years, and recognized by the highly regarded Prepvolleyball.com throughout her high-school career.
Thomas was ranked No. 35 on Prepvolleyball.com’s “The Senior Aces,” a list of the top seniors in the nation. As a junior she was named league MVP, scholar athlete, first-team all-valley, and second-team all-CIF. She was also listed on the 2010-11 Under Armour Girl’s High School All-America Watch List.
Thomas is the eighth recruit under CSU Head Coach Tom Hilbert to make the list, and the 18th in CSU history. The exclusive list features the top 50 recruits from throughout the United States.
