Colorado State University Volleyball, Football Single-game Tickets Now on Sale
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Single-game tickets to all of the Rams’ 2011 volleyball matches and most of CSU’s football games, went on sale to the general public Tuesday at 8 a.m. Purchasing online at CSURams.com and using the print-at-home feature are available options that make the process more convenient.
The volleyball team is gearing up for another exciting season in 2011, and fans can be a part of it. The Rams, coming off back-to-back Mountain West championships and 16 consecutive 20-win seasons and NCAA tournament berths, will play host to 13 teams in 2011, including one of volleyball’s most storied programs.
Nebraska
On Sept. 2, CSU will welcome national powerhouse Nebraska to Moby Arena for a “White Out.” The Cornhuskers, who finished the 2010 season ranked No. 7 nationally, are expected to be one of the nation’s top teams entering the 2011 season. Since 1986, the Cornhuskers have appeared in 11 Final Fours, winning three national championships.
The premium game against Nebraska is one of the program’s most anticipated matches, as the Rams are expecting another record-breaking attendance mark. CSU set a Mountain West record when 6,333 fans came through the turnstiles to see the Rams beat the Duke Blue Devils to open the 2010 season. The Rams ranked No. 13 nationally in attendance per game in 2010, and since 2007 have boasted a 59-5 record (.922) at Moby Arena.
Single-match prices
Tickets for the Nebraska match are $12 for reserved seats, $10 for general admission and $6 for youth. Individual reserved match prices are $8 per game, while general-admission tickets are $6 and youth general-admission seats are $4.
There are no hidden fees when purchasing CSU seats through the Rams’ ticket office. All volleyball tickets carry a $1 service fee. Delivery-method fees include $2 for print at home, $5 for mail or $7 for will call.
Coke Combos
One night after Nebraska comes to town, the Rams host the 2010 America East champion Albany Great Danes, the first of five Coke Combo ticket packages. Fans can receive two general-admission tickets, two hot dogs (or hot pretzels) and two Coca-Cola products for only $10. For more dates, see below.
The five-match homestand concludes the following weekend with the Ram Volleyball Classic presented by Poudre Valley Health System, Sept. 8-10. The four-team round-robin tournament features in-state rival Northern Colorado, Wichita State and an exhibition matchup against Nova KBM Maribor (Slovenia).
From there, fans can witness seven intriguing conference matches, in addition to a non-conference match against Seattle University (Oct. 6). Highlights of the conference season include Boise State traveling to Fort Collins for the first time in the Mountain West (Sept. 24), last season’s runner-up New Mexico (Oct. 13) and the Border War against Wyoming (Nov. 4), which wraps up the home slate. Additionally, Air Force, San Diego State, TCU and UNLV also pay visits to Moby.

Back this season is the Pick Six Plan, in which fans can receive general-admission tickets to six home matches of their choice (excluding Sept. 2 vs. Nebraska) for only $30.
Group seats
Group tickets can also be reserved for all home games. Groups of 20 or more can receive discounted tickets of $4 each in the general-admission seating areas.

Tickets to the Cinch Jeans Rocky Mountain Showdown, Sept. 17 at Invesco Field, are $85 on the sideline in the lower bowl (Ram Club members only), $65 in the end zone of the lower bowl, $55 for the upper level and $110 for the club level.

The CSU student section will be divided into three general admission areas, which will be filled on a first come, first served basis starting with the lower-field 100-level zone. Season tickets
CSU football season tickets, one of the best values offered by any team in the state of Colorado, remain available. Plus, this season the Rams have a bonus seventh game in their season-ticket package – national powerhouse Boise State – and have not raised ticket prices compared to 2010, when CSU’s package contained just six contests. Football mini-plans
Fans again have access to multiple mini-plans. Returning in 2011 is the Kickoff Combo, featuring tickets to the Sept. 10 home opener, an Ag Day “orange out” contest against Northern Colorado, as well as the Showdown against CU, for just $70, or $10 off the combined face value. Kickoff Combo seats are in the north end zone at Hughes Stadium (UNC) and the upper level at Invesco Field (CU). The mini-plan is an excellent way to secure tickets to each of the Rams’ first two games in the state.
New this year is the Mountain West mini-plan, in which fans receive sideline tickets to three exciting conference games: Oct. 15 vs. Boise State (the Broncos’ first-ever MW game), Nov. 12 vs. San Diego State and Nov. 26 vs. Air Force. All three opponents won their 2010 bowl games, all three were either ranked or received votes in the polls during the 2010 season, and the Broncos feature a Heisman hopeful and likely top-5 preseason ranking. The MW mini-plan is $90.
And, celebrating CSU’s new relationship with Coca-Cola, the athletic department is offering a Coke Combo special for the Nov. 12 game vs. San Diego State, the Nov. 26 game vs. Air Force and the Dec. 3 game vs. Wyoming. Coke Combo customers receive two tickets, two hot dogs and two Coca-Cola products for only $40. Tickets are located in the north end zone and are limited.
Boise State single-game tickets
Tickets to one of the most-anticipated CSU home games in recent years, the game against new conference foe Boise State and Heisman candidate Kellen Moore, go on sale to the general public Aug. 15. At this time, there are only four ways to guarantee tickets to the Boise State game: 1) purchase CSU season tickets, 2) purchase the MW mini-plan, 3) become a Ram Club member, or 4) purchase group tickets (information below).
Boise State tickets are available now to Ram Club members, who can purchase tickets to that game by calling the ticket office (1-800/491-RAMS), or by visiting the ticket office, at the McGraw Athletic Center, during normal business hours.
Ram Club memberships begin at only $100 per year. For more information, call 970/491-4666.
Group tickets
Group tickets can also be reserved for all home games. Groups of 20 or more can receive discounted tickets in the north end zone. Group prices are $20 each for the tickets alone, or $25 for each ticket with the extra $5 covering a CSU T-shirt as well as vouchers for one hot dog and a Coca-Cola product.
A minimum of 50 tickets is required to reserve group tickets for the Oct. 15 Boise State game. Fans can visit CSURams.com/groups for more information on group tickets.
