College Volleyball Player Rankings Week 4: Rice Owls
Rice Volleyball Ranked Nationally in Several Statistic Categories

Three Owls on Rice’s volleyball team are statistically nationally ranked. Junior libéro Tracey Lam is ranked 15th in digs per set at 5.29, which is also tops in Conference USA. Junior setter Meredith Schamun is 19th in the country in assists per set with a 11.19 average and senior middle blocker Natalie Bogan is ranked 38th in hitting percentage at .382. As a team, the Owls are 16th in digs (17.31) and assists (13.17). Rice is 21st in kill per set at 13.98.
Rice (8-3) plays at Memphis on Friday at 7 p.m. and at UAB on Sunday at 1 p.m. to begin C-USA play. The Owls finished conference action last year with a 12-4 record and a third-place finish.
