CENTENNIAL, Colo. – The Mtn. – MountainWest Sports Network has partnered with the TCU Film/Television/Digital Media Department to air three additional volleyball matches for 2009. All three matches will air same-day 90-minute tape delay.
“The Mtn. is pleased to provide the students involved in TCU’s Film/Television/Digital Media Department with the opportunity to build their resume and credentials through this real world experience,” said Steve Hurlbut, senior executive producer and director of programming for The Mtn. “This partnership also increases the exposure for MWC volleyball and provides additional service to fans of the sport.”
The three additional games to be produced by the TCU Film / Television / Digital Media Department and aired by The Mtn. are:
Thursday, Oct. 15 UNLV at TCU 8:30 p.m. CST
Thursday, Nov. 5 BYU at TCU 8:30 p.m. CST
Friday, Nov. 20 New Mexico at TCU 8:30 p.m. CST
Added Hurlbut: “We look forward to expanding this endeavor with TCU and adding soccer, basketball and baseball to the list of student-produced programming in the future.”
In addition to those three matches, the Frogs will also be seen on TV in three other matches. The Frogs first appearance on national television is Saturday, Oct. 10 at BYU. TCU’s Oct. 22 match against Colorado State will be seen on The Mtn., while the Nov. 14 match at UNLV will air on CBS College Sports.
