Wake Forest Volleyball Team Announces 2010 Spring Schedule
Demon Deacons to host pair of tournaments this spring
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest will host two tournaments to highlight its 2010 spring schedule, as announced by head coach Heather Kahl Holmes on Thursday.
The Demon Deacons open up their spring slate by hosting an eight-team tournament on March 27. Teams scheduled to participate include Appalachian State, Catawba, Charlotte, Gardner Webb, UNC Greensboro, Wingate and Winthrop.
The Deacs will then travel to Durham, NC, to compete in a four-team event at Duke on April 3rd. High Point and Virginia Commonwealth will be there in addition to the two ACC-foes.
Wake will close out the spring by hosting another eight-team tournament on April 10. Those teams include UNC Asheville, Campbell, Elon, High Point, NC Central, Radford and Wingate, who will make its second trip to Winston-Salem.
Admission at Reynolds Gymnasium is free for all of Wake Forest's spring competition play dates.
