University of Michigan Volleyball Team's Nov. 5 Match Against Penn State to Appear on ESPN2

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan volleyball team's Nov. 5 matchup against Penn State has been picked up by ESPN, marking the third straight season that the network has televised from Cliff Keen Arena. Michigan's 7 p.m. contest against the three-time defending national champion is one of three Big Ten matches to be highlighted by the worldwide leader in sports during the 2010 regular season and will be shown on Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. on ESPN2.
The Wolverines will appear on the Big Ten Network at least three times during the 2010 season in addition to the ESPN2 match. Michigan's first contest against Penn State on Oct. 2, along with its home dates against Michigan State on Oct. 13 and Ohio State on Nov. 6, will air live on the BTN. There is a possibility of other matches to be picked up by the BTN.
In addition to the nationally televised matches, Big Ten volleyball programs will also be featured on the Big Ten Network's nightly show, Big Ten Tonight, as well as the weekly Big Ten Women's Show, which airs Monday nights.
U-M, which earned a No. 9 ranking to end the 2009 season, kicks off the 2010 season at the Rocket Classic on Aug. 27 against Loyola (Md.) at 5 p.m.
