Junior middle blocker Rachael Adams was named Big 12 Player of the Week (Oct. 11) for the second consecutive week after leading the Longhorns to sweeps of Colorado and Kansas State last week ... Adams headlined No. 11 Texas’ attack last week, hitting at a blistering .688 clip, while recording 4.17 kills, 5.33 points and 2.00 blocks per-set ... she committed just three attack errors on a combined 32 swings in two matches and recorded a career-high 10 total blocks in UT’s sweep of Kansas State.
